Flow test laboratory is a part of the company’s structure.

The laboratory develops and offers design projects on the following well-stimulation operations:

  • water influx restraining (including selective effect) in producing wells, behind-the-casing overflow elimination;
  • restraining of sand shows during well operation;
  • hydraulic fracturing with the fracture propped;
  • hydrochloric fracturing;
  • acid treatment of bottom-hole formation zone, including selective acid treatment while multiple zone production;
  • foam-acid treatment, using nitrogen unit;
  • coiled-tubing conveyed (TCP) hydraulic jet perforation.

Flow test laboratory comprises chemical-technological lab. It researches advanced materials, develops technologies of their implementation, based on core and drill cuttings analysis, studies properties of productive layers, verifies compatibility of the fluids used with formation fluids, conducts engineering field supervision.

The laboratory has designed and made its own unit modeling filtration processes in porous mediums. The unit enables to research agents’ properties for selective  water shutoff and hydrophobization of watered formations, properties of deflective systems for matrix acid treatments and fluids, applied while hydraulic fracturing, as well as viscoelastic  surfactants . It helps to analyze modeling working fluids, optimizing their composition and injection operational procedures.

Our lab tests and screens:

  • Inhibitors, ensuring downhole equipment from corrosion;
  • Intersolubilizing agents, blocking formation of hard emulsions in the layer;
  • Complexing agents, preventing formation of water-insoluble salts and ferric iron hydroxides;
  • Surfactants,  facilitating acid solution resultant returns;
  • Clay inhibitors, blocking formation of crystalline hydrate.

In field conditions our chemical-technological laboratory performs the following studies:

  • Quality control and analysis of used chemical compositions;
  • On-site preparation of working fluid laboratory samples, analysis of their  properties to meet working program requirements;
  • Quality control and analysis of working fluids during their preparation and immediately prior to their injection to the layer;
  • Post-operational analysis of worked-out fluids.

Our chemical field laboratory is equipped with up-to-date portable devices to ensure studies of working fluid viscosity and density, as well as identify chemical composition of formation and technical water.  The equipment is computerized with applicable software programs and is capable to transmit the data to computer. All our devices are certified and regularly calibrated in certified metrological laboratories.

Here is configuration of our laboratory:

  1. DR 2800 portable spectrophotometer (made at HACH-Lange, Germany) with a set of certified fluids. The device is designed for highly accurate definition of water chemical composition.
  2. OFITE 900 viscometer.  The device is designed for measuring of liquid fluid dynamic viscosity at various temperatures. ORCADA software enables studying of cement slurries.
  3. SX723 ph-meter-conductometer. The device ensures high accuracy of measuring ph-level, conductivity, salinity and temperature of water solutions.
  4. Bosch blender with undermount blades.
  5. Water bath to study material properties at elevated temperatures.
  6. Set of АОН-1 areometers  (from 850 tо 1850 kg/m3).
  7. ASIS D-1000 Electronic laboratory balance.
